Blog entry no. 5( the acts of peace and kindness I could do as a gift)

* What are the acts of peace and kindness you could do as a gift?

All of us want "PEACE". And for that, we do all things to achieve it. For me, peace is already achieve when you respect, understand, accept the opinion, and attitude of others. Try to adapt also their own environment just like the Muslims, they adapt with our environment in order to understand us. And also when we have unity, we do have peace. If all the people will be united in one reason and purpose, there's no need to war and battle to achieve the peace that all we want. So, as an act we should respect each other and understand the differences.
Being a kind is a good characteristics that person may had. And for me, kind person is no need to wait for the exchange of what he/she do. Only God will pay for their kindness. So, if other people will ask on me for help, I will help them as long as I can do it with my own effort and in a good way. Doing a simple things or helping other people is showing also a kindness. So, big things or small things that you do to others as a favor is a good help for your spiritual feeling because helping others is your own happiness that you choose to have. Therefore, as a gift, I will be kind to others whom ask and need for my help so that I will achieve so much joy and happiness that worth to achieve.

Blog entry no. 4(the things I do at home or work to trash waste at school or home)

* What are the things you do at home or work to trash waste at school or home?

The things that I've been doing to trash waste are to separate it from a non-biodegradable to biodegradable and I was aware on how or where to put the garbage in a right place. When speaking about garbage, in our school we strictly aware of our garbage and now we are aware of it because their are program that being implement that says "There's no collection of garbage if there's no segregation". So, all the students of Lupon Vocational High School are aware on how to trash their garbage. In our home, we do have a compose pit, where all the biodegradable garbage like leaves will going to put there and sometimes we also use it as a fertilizer for our plants. And for the non-biodegradable, we just make sure that the en-charge person or "BASURERO" will get the garbage to throw or trash it in the right place. And for the plastic and recycle materials, there's also a place where to put them. Trash garbage properly is important so that we cannot get or achieve the disadvantages of a garbage that doesn't separate or segregate properly. Therefore, as summary, we should use the 3R which is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Blog entry no. 3(the things I do to keep myself, others or our planet healthy!

* What are the things you do to keep yourself, others or our planet healthy?

Within myself, I was maintaining or keep my body healthy in the way that I was eating a good and nutritious food but also I will make sure that my mind and body will not be danger as I eat some foods that don't have a nutrients. And also exercise help me or our body maintain or keep it healthy because it help us to balance our body well. As possible, I always take good care for my health as well as with my family. I even teach them for the good hygiene. I watched for every food that they would eat and I may the one who remind them to take some medicine if needed and remind them that being healthy is so important. We should always take care and keep our body healthy in order to have a long life. And also like our body, our planet should also stay healthy. So, as a youth at the same time a person who aware with our environment, we should always clean and maintain the cleanliness of our surroundings. And as a student, I keep on maintaining our surroundings and I also use the 3R which is the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. And also we must preserve our nature as what they look within the past time and care for it because as we can see that our nature will gonna lost due to the improper management of our nature. And also I was avoiding burning plastic because it could harm our lungs and aside from that it is the cause why our planet is so hot due to our ultra violet rays was so thin. Therefore, we should be aware and care for our Mother Earth...

Blog entry no. 2(the goals or accomplishment I would like to reach or attain this year)

* What are goals or accomplishments you would like to reach or attain this year?

I have so many goals and plan with my life but within this year, I would like to continue my study as a freshmen student in college. But before that, I do hope that I'm one of the graduating student of Lupon Vocational High School who will going to march on this coming March,2010. Probably, this year was my greatest happiness because I will be graduated in high school. I have so many plan this year. I want to have a job within this summer vacation because I want to help my parents in terms of our financial need. I know studying in college involved more money on order to finish your course so before I will going to enrolled in college, I want to help them to search or find money even though in a short period of time for my tuition and so on and so fort. So, now I was thinking to be a practical person. I maybe enrolling in a two years course or if my parents don't have money I will going in a short term course but it all dependent with our money and also with the help of God. But as of now, I was waiting for the plan of God, it maybe God will send me some chances that can help me. If there is the chance, so why I'm going to hesitate?; I will accept it and take the chance as a challenge. I was hoping that all my goals or accomplishments will achieve and all my plan within this year will be attained.

Blog entry no. 1(the people and events that influenced me most throughout my life)

* Who are people or events that influenced you most throughout your life?

I was influenced with my parents and my friends but throughout my life, my parents has a greatest influenced with me because in every time, I will reminisce all my experiences and struggles as a young lady or as a simple girl, they always keep on touch with me. Even though how busy they are, they always gave time and effort to care with us. They always showing what is right and wrong. They also teach me on how to be a good person. And they influence me in terms of our religion that keep me strong and have faith with our savior whom God. They open my eyes as I can't see the darkness of my soul. So, our being christian is one of the greatest influence that they do with me. They one of the reason why I decided to be "baptist" so when I was being "baptist" on January 23, 2010 (born in spiritual); I see the light of peace and its keep my eyes opened with the greatest things that had been created of God. That event was the greatest influenced throughout my life because now, I assure that I've been so different with my past life. And also my friends influenced me in the way that I found a happiness and enjoyment with their company as a teenager. They also one of the reason why I still want to be a teenager forever because I want to go back with the things that we've done and feel the life of being a young. They also teach me on how to understand, accept and adapt the different attitudes and differences of being a human. They are my achievements that I never neglected because I was feel complete with their present.

As I can See It( Virginity for Money?)

When we tackle a very sensitive talk about "SEX", we also talk about the virginity of a women. And for us girls, its so hard to talk about it...
As I read the article of NZ student accepts $32,000 bid for virginity, I feel so shock because I never expect that their is someone who will sale her body into the strangers in order to get money in the purpose of her personal needs. But also I feel so sorry for her because she lost a very important thing which symbolize to the dignity and can be proud of with the girls and with the future husband which is being virgin until the stage of married came. But nowadays, being virgin is not a big deal for some other girls because as I can see it in our generation, they easily lost it due to their too much curiosity and also lack of financial needs so some of them will become prostitute as they lifetime work. But I'm sure they don't want that kind of work but some of them who are lack in education will stay in that job if that is be called a "JOB"?!. They just do that thing in order to survive the poverty they belong!! They do that in order to pay their debts, tuition and so on and so fort... They think that their is no other solution of it and they never think for any consequences. It maybe led them in pregnancy. And some of them will be pregnant but sad to say, they never plan it so they will come up in a very immortal decision which is "ABORTION".
As I can see it, even you have a billion money, being virgin will never go back if you lost it already.. It will be a longtime and I'm sure you will gonna regret if you lost it at the wrong time!
All we know that for sailing your body or being a prostitute is not a good solution with your financial problem. As it is an immortal sin with God and it can destroy your good future. It is a good privileged to our husband if we are still virgin when we get married. So, as a youth! I can say that "Take care of our decision and don't let our mind work for the curiosity of "SEX". Let it happen in the right time and the right person.
For those people who did a wrong decision and lost their virginity, let them our lesson and as possible don't do or follow their wrong decision because I'm sure they will never want that somebody will follow their wrong path of their life!And always remember that their is always a solution with our problem. Like the bible said in Luke 1:37, for with God nothing is impossible.

Valentines Day!

It's Valentines and Does it is a big deal for us? Well, I keep on asking myself!! What it is the purpose of Valentines Day? Does it is for the couples only???
For the information of the everybody, it is a "HEART DAY" and if we think about Valentines Day, we come up in one word, that is "LOVE" is on the air!! I just read a cellphone qoute and it said that:

Transformers

EXPLAIN BEHIND THE PRINCIPLES OF TRANSFORMERS

Objectives:
a. Differentiate a step-up transformer from a step-down transformer
b. Identify appliances/equipment that require transformers
c. Relate the voltage and current in the primary and secondary coils to the numbers of turn in each.

Assignment: Research about these 3 objectives and post video and explanation on the blogs.

ANSWERS:

a. A STEP-UP TRANSFORMER is allows a device that requires a high voltage power supply to operate from a lower voltage source. The transformer takes in the low voltage at a high current and puts out the high voltage at a low current while the STEP-DOWN TRANSFORMER is allows a device that requires a low voltage power supply to operate from a higher voltage. The transformer takes in the high voltage at a low current and puts out a low voltage at a high current.
b. All the appliances which are functioning or dependent to electricity has a transformer or required a transformer.
c. Hence the step-up transformer has a great loop in secondary coil, so in step-down transformer has a less amount of loop in a secondary coil. So the induce voltage of the step-up transformer is greater than the other. So as a whole if the secondary coil loops is increases the greater the induce voltage and the primary coil reduces its induce voltage with same as vise versa.

Your chances of contracting the disease are virtually eliminated if you do not have intercourse, share needles or get a blood transfusion. This is because HIV/AIDS is contracted through body fluids.
But sometimes people have no choice in the matter. You can also acquire HIV/AIDS through birth, blood transfusion, and infected needles.
People with HIV/AIDS may feel isolated, scared and alone. We need to show compassion to people who have contracted HIV/AIDS, just like Jesus showed compassion to sick people in his life.

I was inspired!

Yes, I was very inspired with this video. When I saw this video in our English class demonstration, I was being proud to the ballet dancers. The two of them are both talented and amazing. They lack one part of their body but its not their hindrance to show their talent to the whole world. I realized that a handicapped person have their own talent. It is not right to discriminate them besides we shall be proud because they never ashamed to show their talent...
I'm really amused and inspired. Even I that have a complete body part didn't know how to ballet but the two person who are unique, they dance gracefully and I'm sure they became an inspiration for the all people especially for the handicapped person. Don't loss hope and try to show your talent in your own way..

High School Life

In four years spending time in high school, I can say High School Life is the very best! I agreed that High School is memorable and full of experience. You can learn a lot. You will experienced the things that you never experienced in your elementary like for examples: Dating, Go out with friends and so on and so forth.
Those following picture was taken in our last YEAR END PARTY in Lupon Vocational High School...You can noticed that all of us are really enjoying every moment on that day... Even our silent classmates are also enjoying... That was our very best...best....moment!!
Being a high school student is hard but enjoyable. It's hard in the way that some lesson is hard to take up but it is enjoyable in the way that you have all the memorable experienced with your second family which composed of your teachers and classmates...
Nothing can compared with the life of a HIGH SCHOOL..It's because, these was the time that we realize and know on how to GROW UP!!

What is Baptism?

Baptism is one of the sacraments ordained by God. Baptism is a sacred or holy activity of the Christians. This is also a way to have a new chapter of your life with God which is our savior. Why is it Baptism is important? It is important because it is an ordered by God and you should baptize in order to be added and officially part of the church. Like in our church, the Faith Baptist Church require to be baptize before you will be a official member. Moreover, Baptism is hard to accept unless you are ready to follow the word of God. When you decided to baptize, it means that you're ready to lived those activity that not good in the eyes of God.

Last Saturday, January 23, 2010; I decided to baptize in order to be born again spiritual. Like me, my co-church mates decided also to baptize in order to be born again spiritual and to be added in our church. In that time, our decision tested us. The tricycle that we will going to used is not working but because of God's well, He give us way to continue that said Baptism. God also give us wonderful day because in a little time, He stop the rain, so our Baptism is done perfectly because of the help of our God.
That was a great and memorable experience in the life of being a Christian.

I'm Lovely D. Montaña, 16 years of age. I lived in Corporacion, Lupon Davao Oriental. I'm a 4th year student in Lupon Vocational High School and hopefully I will graduated on this year, 2010.
Moreover, I'm a simple and joyful girl. I'm also friendly for those people who are true and I'm a good enemy for those people who talk in my back or simply called a "backbiter". I'm not telling that I'm a bad girl but not all the time I can be good with other person. We cannot "please" all the people to be good to us. But try to accept the fact that if you are good to them even you're enemy will be your good friend. Well, nothing more I can say with myself. I advice that its better to know me in person but for the sake of those people who don't have the time to know me, well let me say something about myself.
I was given a chance to see how beautiful to lived in earth on July 01,1993. I was made with the loved of two couple, whom are my beloved parents. I was growing with God's word. My parents teach me to have faith and they always telling me and show to me that there's a God who will guide me always. I can say that I'm not perfect. Sometimes, I can do something that made other people hurt but I can say "sorry" for those mistake. I'm also a silent person for those people that was stranger for me but in the company of my friends, family, relatives and even with my classmates, I'm became a talkative in a good sense and also I can be a clown or I can make people happy in my simple way of joking or even talking. I loved also watching television, txting with my friends and sharing different thought with them. I'm also a girl who want to soar high and want to achieve my goal in life.
In general, I'm a person who give important and care with my family, friends, classmates, relatives and even other people whom I know and I'm a girl that full of ambition that someday I want to achieve and be a successful. But most of all, I'm a girl that have faith with God.

What I've learned in Islam, Ramadan and Hajj!?

I've learned that Muslims is did not believe in celebrating birthdays of death anniversaries. And also they have their Ramadan that very important to them because their year will not be complete without celebrating the said Ramadan. They celebrate it on the ninth month of the year. They also have the Hajj which is the pilgrimage on Mecca. All the rich Muslims that can afford are willing to joined the celebration. Mecca is the holy place of the Muslims. In this activity, I learned a lot of information about Muslims such as the components of Islam, the major religious events and the five pillars of faith. For them all the religious festivals have their own significant. The important prayer for them is the Salat. And lastly, I learned that Muslims believe in only one God, they called it ALLAH and also they have their Qur'an. According to my Muslim classmates it is the continuation of the Holy Bible.

Components of Islam

*Ramadan is (also written Ramazan, Ramzan, Ramadhan, Ramdan, Ramadaan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured; from dawn until sunset. It is a time for Muslims to fast for the sake of God and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds.
*Hajj is is a pilgrimage in Mecca. It is currently the largest annual pilgrimage in the world.

Five Pillars of Faith in Islam

*Shahada (affirmation), the duty to recite the creed: "There is nothing worthy of worship save Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God"
*Salat (prayer), the duty to worship the One God in prayer five times each day
*Zakat (almsgiving), the duty to give away alms and to help the needy
*Siyam (fasting), the duty to keep the Fast of Ramadan
*Hajj (pilgrimage), the duty to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime.

Religious Events of Islam

1. Eid-ul-Fitr- is an Arabic word which means "a day which returns often." Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the 1st day of the month of Shawwal.

2. Eid-ul-Adhia- an Arabic word which means "a day which returns often."

3. Muharram- Muharram festival commemorates the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). This festival starts at the 1st day of Muharram and lasts for 10 days until 10th of Muharram. Muharram is the first month of Islamic calendar.

4. Eid Milad-un-Nabi- Allah sends down his blessings on the Prophet, and His Angles constantly invoke His blessings on him; do you, O believers, also invoke Allah’s blessings on him and offer him the salutation of peace.’ (33:57)

5. Shab-i-Miraj- means the night of Ascent. It is the blessed night when the Holy Prophet of Islam was spiritually transported to heaven and he reached a high stage of nearness to God Almighty which is beyond ordinary human comprehension.

6. Lailat-ul-Qadr- This blessed night is also called the night of Power. It is the particular night in the month of Ramadhan when the Holy Quran first began to be revealed.

7. Ramadan- is one of the holy months in the Islamic calendar.
8. Hajj- is an obligation once in a lifetime for Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform it.
9. Jum'a-tul-Mubarak (Friday Prayer)- It is compulsory for all Muslims, men and women equally.

O.M.G (Oh My Gosh)!!

Oh my gosh! It's two days to go before our EXAM. It's time to study and I know my mind will be busy in memorizing and recap for the previous lesson. EXAM is so fast approaching.
Now, it's the 3rd Quarter EXAM and I know it will be the difficult stage because in our section, we've been wanted to be the one of the Top ranking student. As one of those student, It's hard to maintain a high grades because you should be a hardworking and studious student to achieve a high grades. In my part, when EXAM is going on, I'm just praying to God to give me knowledge to overcome that said EXAM. There was a time, I feel tired because my parents are still hoping that I can achieve more than I achieve right now.... In my part, I am contented with my achievement but my parents always telling me to make it higher.
O.M.G!, I cannot imagine that our EXAM is so fast approaching....
After the EXAM, I know we will have a peace of mind!!

I know some of the students have a feeling like this. We cannot avoid feeling nervous, it's a part of our life. And I do admit, I'm one of the students who feel nervous. Every time, I will talk or perform in front of the people... I don't know why I feel nervous, besides I know I can do it correctly...
Yesterday, we had an activity in English. And it's all about the 7 specialization of the LVHS (Lupon Vocational High School) which are the COMPUTER, GARMENTS, FOOD, ELECTRICITY, AUTOMOTIVE, METAL WORKS and WOOD WORKING. Our tasks is to choose one and present it individually. I'm so confidence memorizing of what I will say. But by that time, I was so nervous and my confidence was automatically lost... And I think, I can't sirvive but thanks God! I survive even though I forgot some details but at least I did my best and I know that by that time, myself confidence was developed.
I hate the way I feel nervous... It's only destroy my concentration. But I must fight for this feeling and I'm also encouraging myself that I can do it. I don't want to feel nervous all my life. I want to be expose in front of many people and developed myself confidence. So, for those student who feel nervous like me... I'm encouraging you to developed your confidence for the better performance... Don't be insecure also because insecurities is the one will make you feel nervous..
So, Are you feeling nervous? Developed your confidence and believe with yourself...!

Do Friendship long Last?

In the quotes that I had been reading, it's say that "TRUE FRIENDS stay together for life. I may not have money to share, I may not have food to offer but I have the Love and Care for a friend which I permanently share!". I agree that even though you don't have the money and food but at least you have the love and care which you can share permanently with your friends. But I was thinking, "Do Friendship Long Last?" Some people says that "It will last long" but for me "maybe" because like the quotes said its only a true friend will stay together for life. Howit will last long if your friends didn't considered your friendship? It will end up useless if you're only one fighting for it. Let me share my experience with my friends.
Few of my friends, didn't long last. I don't know why! Sometimes I can say "Is there any problem with me?". Some of them now have their new friends already...So, our friendship is no longer working. Even though we're talking sometimes, for me its almost different because we talk about a nonsense. Before, they almost telling their problem and sharing different ideas but now they didn't share anymore their problem. Every time we see each other, I always smiled at them but deep inside I'm hurting and one side of my heart felt jealous with their new friends. It's so hard to move on with your friendship that you build up for a years but I have too... And I just simply say with myself "Grow up"...
But besides, I'm thankful because until now I have a friend that I can call in times of tears and happiness....

Are you aware of a relationship?

In this generation, teenager is almost aware of it. Some of them have a relationship..or we simply say "GIRLFRIEND" and "BOYFRIEND". Why do teenager eager to have relationship in the right time? as I can see it, they want to rush every moment. Honestly, I'm also curious about having a relationship. I don't want to be called a "NBSB" or No Boyfriend Since Birth.. It's because of the influence in this generation, I admit that I had been in a relationship but I don't take it seriously. I do have a limitation and I don't want to follow the foot-step of my cousins. They was so young to have their own family. Now, I know that every time they had been thinking with their past, they regret every moment that they had wasted. But now I realize, its better to wait for the right time before you will considered having a relationship. Teenager always reason out that "Having a relationship is just for inspiration". But Did you know that its better to stay single as now!! WHY?
Some people might say, single persons have sad life.."NO", they have friends that makes them happy..Some might also say, no one cares for them.."That's also a lie", they have their family who loves them. But Do you know why they are still single?It's because they look forward for a long time relationship at the right time with the right person and not just for an EXPERIENCE!!
So, think before entering a relationship..

Saturday, at one o'clock. I was listening radio in LOVE RADIO..I'm one of the listeners of DR. LOVE. It gives me inspiration and ideas of the different true stories and experiences. Suddenly, that day the story was so wonderful and definitely you will realize that Life is too short. I just want to share the happiest and sadness part of the story.

Lila and Ernesto love each other so much. They were planning their wedding and they both so happy preparing it. One week before the wedding, Lila decided to get her wedding gown. That day, it was raining and suddenly, in unexpected moment, Lila was accident. She were in hospital when Ernesto came. The doctor said that any time, Lila will die. Unfortunely, it was true after a minutes, Lila was no longer life...

Imagine, in just one click...Our life will be lost!Life is too short so don't waste every moment instead treasure it and Take Good Care of yourself....!

Every trials has a solution. I want to share some of my insights about my family.

I was born in a complete and simple family. They made me with their love. As I grow older, I can't see any problem but starting these year, trials is always in our home. I'm a christian and our pastor says that its a GOD trials.

I'm so dissapointed because I never thought that in the 1st day of 2010, we will encounter a family problem. I dont want to elaborate it but I assured you that its a big deal with me. As their daughter, I don't know what to do. I'm just their daughter and I can't says "Hey!Mom,Dad! don't do that...", I cannot command them of what they're going to do. I know, they're older enough to know what is right and wrong. But "Do I have the right?"

After that day, I thought it will gonna be OKEY but in the 5th day of this month, in my Mother's birthday, we do have a misunderstanding again. I don't know what I'm going to do. But I'm so thankful because of the words of Gog that give us strong.

Now, I can say that "With God Nothing is Impossible". Our pastor always say that "God will allow Satans to test how faithful you are! And give Satans satisfaction".
